Support me as I walk to end Alzheimer's!

My family and I lost our wife/mother/sister/aunt this past year, May 19, 2009. I am more determined than ever to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. By participating in the 2009 Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk®, I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.

In the past I have walked in the Philadelphia Memory Walk while the rest of my family walked in the Lima, OH walk. Lima is my hometown, and where my mom spent most of her life. This September 12th, the day of the Memory Walk in Lima, OH, would have been my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. I am traveling with my wife, Cathy, to walk with the family and celebrate the remarkable people who are our parents.

I hope you will support me financially in this event. The money is used mainly to fund research into the disease and its prevention/cure. Some is used to support the spouses, children, and loved ones, like my Dad, who take care of someone suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Please join me by making a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.

On behalf of the millions of Americans who are living with this disease, thank you for supporting my efforts. And for my family, I thank you for helping us honor the memory of our mom! We're on the MOVE to end Alzheimer’s!
